July Favourite's

Hello Everyone =]

This year seems to be flying by and I can't believe were at the end of July already! We had the hottest day of the year this month and believe me, it wasn't much fun, it was unbearable. My mum didn't experience it though as she was probably in a pool on her holiday to Greece.
This month also excited me so much as I went to my second bloggers event and OMG it was amazing, better than I'd ever managed and I had so much fun.
I have a lot of favourite's this month, so lets get started =]

Netflix Shows

Orange is the new black
I started watching this again, after I heard people talking about how sad the latest season was and OMG I cried, did anyone else cry?

Between
It felt like forever waiting on whether they were making a season 2 or not and they didn't disappoint, I'm hoping on a 3rd season as it ended on a cliff hanger. It's a must watch if you like strange scenarios.

Good Witch
I love this so much, I've watched all the TV movies and when I saw this had been added I was so happy, its just so nice to watch, and I'm such a huge fan of Catherine Bell.

Netflix Movies

Xmen: Days of Future Past
I did enjoy this, I've been wanting to see it since it came out in the cinema and I can't wait for the next installment.

Kung Fu Panda 1 & 2
Not sure why I never watched these til now but I enjoyed both, loved the humor and can't wait til the 3rd one gets put on.

Shark Tale
Forgot how much I love this film, late at night when I'm bored, I tend to re-watch films so I don't have to concentrate fully but I forgot how funny this was.

TV

Don't Tell The Bride
Basically this program is about the groom taking over the wedding preparation and the big day without his bride knowing anything. Sometime's it can be quite shocking but I love wedding programs.

The Catch
She's a private investigator and he's a con man, love this program, very gripping.

The Living and the Dead
OMG if your not watching this then you are missing out, it has to be the best British drama on TV right now, it can be creepy at some points but you can't help but watch.

Containment
Who doesn't love a program about a mystery virus killing people? Both me and my sister are hooked on this.

Celebrity Masterchef UK
I honestly had no idea who was going to win but Alexis was amazing so he deserved it. It's been a good series as usual.

Also The Last Ship, The Zoo and Dark Matter are back on TV and they are all so good!

Music
I've been constantly listening to Disney movie soundtracks, they make me happy and I love a good sing along. My favourite song at the moment, has to be, I see the light from Tangled.

Food

It's been rather warm this month, even when its been raining as well so I've been loving ice lollies, especially Twisters.
So refreshing!

Product

I recently purchased the Remington lady shaver and OMG its amazing, I don't like things that vibrate, reminds me of the dentist haha but my legs have never been so smooth and I'm not afraid of cutting myself with it as I can't. It was such a bargain too, £19 for the device, batteries, brush and bag.

Event

If you didn't know this month I went to a bloggers event called the Liverpool Period Project and it was amazing. You can read about it Here

Would love to know your favourites for the month?

Liverpool Period Project Event

Hello Everyone =]

On the 24th of July, I went to my second blogging event and OMG it was amazing!

The event was to raise money for homeless woman in Liverpool who don't get a chance to buy sanitary products. We were previously told to buy items, such as sanitary pads, tampons, travel tissues, wet wipes, cotton knickers, tooth brushes and paste and I bought mini hair brushes.

We were also asked to wear anything pink as well for breast cancer awareness, so I wore a pink and orange top and also painted my nails in a bright pink too with glitter (of course) =]

I was really nervous before the event, been nervous all week, even though I had my sister with me, I still managed to meet up with Kiah at the train station so we could all travel together. It was nice to have people with me, wasn't as nervous on the train as I thought I would be, its when we got into Lime Street station that I got a bit nervous because they have steep escalators but once we reached the top, I started to feel better.
Me and Kiah met a few other bloggers at the station, then we made our way to the event which was held in Dough Bar I was shocked to see how close it is to the station so that made me feel better too.

We got inside and I said hi to Sam and Alisha who organised the event, then placed my santiary products on a table.

There was also another table full of prizes for the raffle:

And the last table, had the yard sale items on:

The had decorated the place, pink balloons, confetti and party poppers on the table with assigned seats for us all

I knew most of the bloggers on my table so I felt comfortable, also got myself a glass of coke cola for only £2.50 and it lasted me all day I was there.

I was super excited to see what was going to happen during the day, as we were there from 11.45am to 4pm.

We got to listen to talks from SamanthaAlishaTeardrop DesignsMeruMaya and The Body Shop at the start then we could all have a chat for a while and have a look around at the stalls.

We had previously paid £5 for food and the dough bar did a buffet, we ate at about 12/1ish and OMG the food is amazing, I had curly fries, normal fries and pepperoni pizza. Would defiantly go back for a meal there, its a must.

We also played a couple of games, pass the parcel, whats in my bag and we also did a quiz. The body shop had a few games too, we were given bin bags and 2 minutes to make a little black dress, it was very fun and unusual, some of us looked amazing for the time we had. We also had another game, where we would put a piece of paper on our heads and were told to draw and island with a few other bits included, we scored up points and the winner got a body shop prize. We also did a pick a mix thing and I won a free facial for myself and up to 5 friends at the body shop.

It was then onto the raffle, it was £5 per strip:

We got a chance to pick out what we wanted and as there were so many prizes, we all managed to get 2 or more, this is what I chose:
Lauren Conrad Bundle

Teardrop Designs

I love both prizes, I even decided to give my mum this bracelet:

And I've kept the necklace for myself:

Afterwards we got our goody bags and a chance to buy more stuff so I got my #LPP bracelet and also got my sister a bracelet too for thanking her for travelling with me.

I had such an amazing time, seeing everyone again and meeting new people =]

I can't wait to experience more events and see my friends again.

I will be doing a separate post on my goody bag, so look out for that soon!

Congrats too Sam and Alisha for pulling the event off and making me happy =]

Nano-b Review

Hello Everyone =]

I've got an review for you today from a company that make toothbrushes.

This section has been taken from their website: It’s pretty clear Nano-b is not an ordinary toothbrush, but what makes us so special? First, a little science, as it is science that makes our brushes truly unique
It’s Nano-b’s natural antibacterial properties that sets us apart, as we offer a manual toothbrush with 99.9% effectiveness in killing bacteria.
That’s a big claim, and we’re happy to explain exactly how it works.
You wouldn’t guess when looking at them, but each of the Nano-b’s bristles are coated with either silver, gold or bamboo charcoal nano-sized particles. These microscopic particles release negatively charged ions that penetrate bacterial cells, suppressing the cell’s respiration and metabolism. This kills bacteria and prevents further growth on your toothbrush as Nano-b bristles are resistant to any airborne bacteria as well.

I received the silver toothbrush and the bamboo charcoal and gold toothbrush. As I received both, I decided to give my sister the choice of the one she wanted to use for review.

My sister chose the bamboo charcoal and gold toothbrush:

She said: "She like's the feel of the handle, with easy grip. Stylish look of the brush itself, Soft and small bristles make it easier to clean each tooth and makes her teeth feel cleaner than any other brushes she has used in the past".

I chose the silver toothbrush:

If you've read my blog for a while, you know I've always had problems with my teeth so when I received this brush, I was glad that it is small and can easily get round my mouth without any pain. The brush itself is super soft and feels nice when brushing, because of that, I didn't get any pain from brushing and I will continue to use this brush for as long as possible. And as my sister said, the handle feels nice and can be cleaned easily.

Each brush is worth £7.99 but you can buy them in a twin pack for £13.99 or a family pack for £29.99.

They are worth a buy, me and my sister love using them.

You can purchase your own brushes Here

You can follow them on Twitter here =]

Would love to know if you purchase these

Update

Hello Everyone =]

It's been ages since I've done a personal post and I don't think I can put it off any longer.

Things have been weird and slow lately. You all know that I don't do much with my life but these past couple of months have dragged so much. My life is at a standstill, i'm utterly drained of any motivation at all, i haven't crafted in so long and it pisses me off. I want to make cards and be creative, but I cant get out of this funk! People are trying to help, my adviser at the job center wants me to do CBT online but i don't think therapy is for me. I don't think i could ever change my view on life, I've always been like this, to be honest i'm sure i was born depressed, i see no positives in my life, just negatives.

It's not just my life going to shit though, my Nan is currently having chemotherapy for a lump she had removed. My mums friends husband has got cancer and my dads wife's mum has cancer too. It's a sad world we live in and after knowing about the EU vote and knowing my life will change for the worse as i get older.

Recently, I've been having a weird feeling in myself, a bad feeling, i don't know what it is or what i should do, i just know its getting me down and i'm sleeping more than often and staying in more, last month i only left the house a couple of times, only because i was either with my mum or dad.
My mum is going on holiday this month for 2 weeks and I know i'm being selfish but i don't want her to go and leave me but i know she needs the break away from work stress and home stress and sometimes me and my sister can give her too much stress to handle.

I didn't really want to burden anyone with this, that's why i was hesitant to write this post at all.

The one thing I am looking forward too this month is the Liverpool Period Project event that I'm going too.

I love blogging and no matter how i feel, i will never give it up! It a part of my life!

Thank you for reading,

Love Emma xxx
